MENTORSHIP AND SUPPORT

MAKING EDUCATION & SKILLS PERSONAL

The Situated Learning orchestration S4iHub.io platform provides many advisors-to-one student mentorships and professional support ratios with countless opportunities to nurture personal connections. IICS faculty also, often evolve from teachers into mentors, advisors, and friends.

MEANINGFUL DIALOGUE

Skills4Industry Foundation connects faculty who are subject-matter specialists anywhere on the globe and students through a series of informal channels hosted by your school faculty members in their S4iHub.io portal homes to create a dynamic community characterized by spirited discussion. These meetings can be face-to-face through video interfaces, real-time forum group chat.

ACADEMIC RESOURCES

WE WANT YOU TO THRIVE

IICS Academic Resource Center offers academic support and guidance for every undergraduate. Programs and services include learning consultations, tutoring and study groups, and LD/ADHD support.

ACADEMIC SUPPORT

HELPING TO MAKE THE MOST OF EVERY MOMENT

IICS broad array of advising resources and opportunities provides the direction needed to make your college experiences both abundant and unique. Whether it’s through a Student Success Leader, major advisor, or academic dean. Supporting and encouraging students is what we do best.

STUDENT SUCCESS LEADERS

THE CONNECTIONS

Student Success Leaders are student academic leaders who work with academic deans, college advisors, and directors of academic engagement. Student Success Leaders share how to form mentoring relationships with faculty, navigate online registration, and help students learn to distinguish what is merely popular from what is individually meaningful to them in their course selections.

RESEARCH ADVISORS

MAKING INQUIRY AND INVESTIGATION THE CORE OF LEARNING

Over half of our undergraduates participate in mentored research experience before they graduate. Research experience can begin in your first year, or it can wait until your senior year. The Undergraduate Research Support Resources can help point you to projects that match your interests and identify funding for your research.
